Just a status update

I often get questions from family members and friends about the status of the house. Well, not much has changed. I (Mindy) have not worked on anything since finishing the exterior paint. I spent a lot of time in the fall cleaning up some mold issues in the basement from the humidity of summer. So I reorganized the basement, multiple times. I built temporary shelves so that the books and toys had a place to go. I built a temporary work counter in the kitchen. We recently put in a temporary sewing station. The kids are temporarily sleeping in the future sewing & library rooms on the main floor while Noah & I are still in the basement. We still have to finish hanging drywall in the upstairs and all of the finishing it requires. The floors are not installed, etc. We are taking a break from the house work until summer. We are at a comfortable stopping point and are enjoying being parents and all of the work it takes. Here are a few pictures of the status of life in the house right now. Please take into account that I did not clean up anything before taking these pictures and I am sick right now, so everything is a mess. But since I am sick, I have to take it easy so I figure why not update the blogs?! Enjoy the pictures of the mess.
