Roof Reno Days 12 & 13

I forgot to take a picture at the end of day 12, so the first picture is half-way through the 13th day. The following two pictures show the progress through the end of day 13. The roof is now being prepped for blue board layers.

Roof Reno Day 11

Southern roof had its shingles stripped today. Fabric underlayment mostly installed. We need new OSB installed tomorrow on the top 2 ft of roof decking on this south side. The rest of the roof decking is still in good shape. Phew!

Roof Reno Day 10

The new northern roof underlayment is installed! Wahoo!! Next step: strip southern roof of shingles and start laying blue board insulation.

Rafters on the north roof have all been replaced! Milestone achieved.

Nearly done with new rafters! Very exciting.

Roof Reno Days 5, 6, & 7

I was chaperoning the 8th grade trip to Boston and missed days 5, 6, & 7, so here is the progress that I missed.

Roof Reno Day 4

Today's work was only a half-day before the rain started, so imagine how much further a full day would have yielded! Tomorrow is another rain day, but later in the week will be great weather for an open roof!
